3. Correction to last post. Ayala Pamela did NOT have an adverse reaction to the new chemo that was administered which is good. Blood count looks good and she began physical therapy to get her back on her feet. The ulcers in her mouth are clearing up to the extent that she now can get ready made noodles down without stinging. Carrot soup also goes down well. She indulged in a chocolate cookie this morning (The first taste of really anything in 3 weeks) had an out of body experience, it messed her mouth up but she did not regret it. She sends all of you her love.

How to Donate Funds
BS”D
Dear Friends,
With the Shloshim (marking of 30 days after passing) of Ayala Pamela bat Avraham v’Leah Weisfeld upon us, we would like to take a moment to thank everyone for all of their support over the last few months. Each one of you has affected the balance of chessed (kindness) in the world with your caring acts b’zchut (in the merit of) the memory of Ayala Pamela bat Leah v’Avraham and her family. As we find ourselves embarking on the Yamim Noraim (High Holy Days), a time for reflection and giving, we wanted to update you on an important advance in continuing to give the Weisfeld family much needed support.
First of all, thank you for all of you who have given already. The money has been vital to helping the Weisfeld family in their daily needs. However, their financial needs will continue for the foreseeable future, so in order to make it easier for people to continue to give, we have streamlined the donation process through an organization called Care for the Needy of Jerusalem (www.carefortheneedy.org). This organization has set up a fund for the family and can receive the money through a variety of venues in several countries. Depending on the method of payment, your donations can also be tax deductable (in the US, England, Canada, and Israel). Please see below for which payment methods are tax deductable.
Care for the Needy will receive the donations, keep a record of what comes in, provide receipts for tax deductions, and distribute the money to the Weisfeld family. You may give via check, credit card, pay pal (this will get to them the quickest), installments (tashlumim), or automatic payments from your bank account (horat keva). Horat keva and monthly payments on your credit card(automatic withdrawals) are an excellent ways to give even small amounts on an ongoing basis and have your maser money covered for the year. 10% of your donations will go to other families in need that the organization serves.
Here’s how is works:
When you make a donation: Please send an email to Care for the Needy of Jerusalem at care@barak.net.il with the following information:
- Amount, date sent, the Weisfeld family name, the payment method (credit card, paypal*, check, etc),
- If you would like a receipt for tax purposes (please state country where it will be used).
Don’t forget to write the name ‘Weisfeld’ on the method of payment.
Paypal*: http://www.carefortheneedy.org/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=47&Itemid=37&lang=he
Or if you would like to transfer from Paypal account to Paypal account then enter Care for the Needy Jerusalem’s email- Care@barak.co.net.il
*No tax deduction available at this time via paypal in the US, England, and Canada. Also this is a different paypal account than has previously been used. Please use this one instead!
